Settings for XMPP Service at https://nwschat.weather.gov/


Default Settings work for this service.

Set userid to userid@nwschat.weather.gov
Set password to your password
Set Email to your email address
Verify Authentication is set to SASL-Plain
Verify Encryption type is set to TLS
Set MUC/Conference server to conference.nwschat.weather.gov

Network

Direct TCP is default. Use BES/MDS if your company forces the use of BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) for external connectivity.

Once connected, please select the Download Conference Roster menu from the conference.nwschat.weather.gov node of your contact list. From there, you can then join any chat room you have access to.
