Settings for Cisco Unified Presence Server (CUPS) 8.0 with XMPP Support

Settings for Cisco Unified Presence Server (CUPS) 8.0 with XMPP Support

1. The key information you need to extract from your CUPS is the XMPP domain name

>>Domain Name for XMPP Clients userid@domain

The domain name on the XMPP client, specifically the XMPP connection attempt domain name, must match the SIP proxy domain on Cisco Unified Presence. To verify the SIP proxy domain value on Cisco Unified Presence, select Cisco Unified Presence Administration > System > Cluster Topology, select Settings in the right pane, and verify the Domain Name value.
2. Set the authentication type to SASL-PLAIN
